Bubblegum Doll

Premise: 

In a dystopian world aesthetically reminiscent of a Dr. Seuss book, corporations have found the perfect answer to the public’s distrust of AI: Bubblegum Dolls. Half-human, shape-shifting, and tirelessly obedient, these synthetic workers are designed to serve businesses and customers alike—efficient, disposable, and incapable of saying no. After a long day at work, Icarus Gutierrez is intercepted on his walk home by a persistent stranger offering a free coupon for a massage parlor that employs only Bubblegum Dolls. Skeptical but intrigued, he accepts—unaware that the Doll awaiting him has something no corporation ever intended: a mind of their own.
